Cancellation and Refunds

The short version

If you subscribe as a consumer, you have 14 days to change your mind. The skill pack, however, is downloadable digital content: if you ask for immediate access, you give up the right to cancel for that period once the download begins. If you have not downloaded anything, we refund the full amount. And if the product is faulty, you are always entitled to your money back.

1. Who this applies to

The right to cancel belongs to consumers: people subscribing outside a business. If you buy as a company and give a VAT number at checkout, this right doesn't apply; the cancellation rules in the Terms apply instead.

2. How long you have

14 days from the day you subscribe. The deadline is the end of the fourteenth day, weekend or not.

3. What to know about digital content

The skill pack is digital content that you can download straight after payment. Under the law, for content like this the right to cancel ends once the download begins, provided you expressly asked for immediate access beforehand and acknowledged that you would lose your right to cancel.

We ask for this with a checkbox before you pay. If you tick it and download the pack, you can no longer cancel for the period you have paid for. If you have downloaded nothing within the 14 days, you can cancel for a full refund.

Either way, you can cancel your subscription at any time, and we won't charge you for the next period.

4. How to cancel

Send an email to [email protected]. This much is enough: "I am canceling my subscription." Include the email address you registered with. No form to fill in, no reason needed.

We acknowledge your request the day it arrives.

You can also use the form below if you like. It is optional: any clear statement will do.

5. When you get your money back

We start the refund within 14 days of your cancellation arriving, using the same payment method you paid with. We charge nothing for this.

When it shows on your statement depends on your bank, usually 3 to 10 working days.

6. If something doesn't work

If the pack doesn't do what we said it would, that isn't a cancellation question but a faulty product, and you're owed your money back then too, beyond the 14 days. Write to [email protected] and we'll look at it together.
